1. Digital CMYK Colour and Black Printing
We're experts at digitally printing on our beautiful paper range. Our digital printers use four coloured toners (CMYK) to print directly on to card or paper, so unlike older printing methods like offset printing, there's no need for printing plates - it's modern and cost effective! So, whether your design is in colour or classic black it's easy to digitally print just one sample or hundreds, and you can have a different design (variable data) on every page!
2. Digital White Printing
Make your coloured cards and envelopes pop with white ink printing - it's a fresh and elegant look that really shows off the quality and texture of your chosen paper.
3. Digital Gold and Silver Printing
Digital Gold and Silver prints using shimmery dry toner directly onto card without a need for expensive printing plates making it a much quicker process in comparison to Hot Foil Press. This also means we can print variable data and print samples for you with quick turnarounds as there's no minimum order (there's a 50 minimum order for Hot Foil Press).
4. Digital Flat Foil
Just like traditional Hot Foil Press, Digital Flat Foil applies a thin layer of heat reactive metal foil to the card, but whereas Hot Foil Press requires a magnesium block of your design to stamp the foil onto your chosen stock, Digital Flat Foil uses a 100% black digital print which the foil adheres to when heat is applied. Digital Flat Foil is also known as Toner Reactive Foiling or Sleeking - and with its real-metal shine, it's a step up compared to Digital Gold Printing.
5. Hot Foil Press
If you want to add a touch of luxury to your designs, you’re going to want to know a bit about Hot Foil Press. There’s something unique about foil that spells glamour… It’s impossible to not be drawn to the high shine of this traditional printing technique, elevating your invitations, business cards and stationery.
Hot foil pressing (or stamping) is a process whereby metallic foil is applied to the surface of the card or paper stock using heat and pressure. The result? A truly stunning effect for your design in a metallic sheen.
6. Embossing
Give your design a lift by embossing your logo, initials or monogram, a simple illustration or even a pattern for a luxurious look! A gorgeous traditional method that creates tactile impact without any colour. Embossing requires two custom made plates that fit into each other to alter the surface of your paper.
7. Letterpress Printing
Letterpress printing is a go-to traditional printing technique for invitations, business cards and for designs that really make an impression! We bring your designs to life on our vintage presses, using custom plates and Pantone Uncoated inks (PMS U) which are carefully mixed by hand. You can order one, two or three PMS colour letterpress, each design/colour counts as an extra PMS plate.
Available on a wide range of our luxury card stocks, choose from softer cotton blend stocks (traditionally used for letterpress) like Gmund Colors Cotton or a crisper impression on a stock like Woodland. Pantone inks are translucent (not opaque like hot foil) which means you must choose an ink colour darker than the card to be letterpressed. You can’t letterpress lighter colours or white on to darker stock. To get the deepest impression we recommend choosing double-thick (duplexed) card.
8. Edge Foiling
Edge foiling gives a metallic, reflective sheen to the paper's edges – it’s a century’s old technique frequently used to highlight and protect a book’s pages. Edge Foiling adds elegance and luxury to the edge of your cards from invitations to business cards.
